The estate
Located in the heart of the Dentelles de Montmirail, the Domaine de Cassan was established in the 1970s. It was long owned by the Croset family and was run by the two sons of Paul Croset, its historic founder.
Today, the estate has been taken over by the Petitjean family, long-standing partners of the Croset family. In fact, in 2010, we had already taken over part of the Cassan vineyards: their 7-hectare plot in Gigondas and a 4-hectare plot in Beaumes-de-Venise. These vineyards have since been converted to organic farming by the team at Château la Croix des Pins, and have produced some highly acclaimed vintages!

The wines
The Domaine de Cassan produces red Beaumes-de-Venise and white Côtes-du-Rhône wines. It also offers a Muscat de Beaumes-de-Venise. In short, these are wines of character, born in the heart of the Dentelles de Montmirail, in a geologically complex terroir with mineral-rich soils.

The team,
the beating heart
of the estate
Passionate about their work, our employees share a vision of excellence and sustainability. Each brings their own unique expertise, whether in viticulture, winemaking, or welcoming our visitors. Together, we cultivate not only vines, but also a strong team spirit and a culture of constant innovation.

SARAH & JéRôME
Jérôme and Sarah Petitjean bring their youthful, modern vision to the management of the estate. Since their arrival, they have been devising and developing Cassan's plans for the future, assisted by Florence Blay, Patrick Breda, and Sébastien Petitjean in the day-to-day running of the estate. You will have the opportunity to meet them when you visit.
